• Navigate to the “Plugins” section of WHM and click on “LiteSpeed Web Server Plugin for WHM.”
• Select “Install LiteSpeed Web Server.”
• Fill out the form with the following details:
  • Trial license key or serial number
  • LiteSpeed target installation directory
  • Port Offset (set to 0 to replace Apache, otherwise set a number like “2000” to try LiteSpeed on port 2080)
  • Whether to enable PHP SuEXEC
  • Assign a username and password for the LiteSpeed web admin console
  • Your email address as the administrator’s email
• Click “Next” to proceed with the LiteSpeed installation.

If you set the Port Offset to “0,” LiteSpeed may stop Apache and start itself after a successful installation. You may need to temporarily switch back to Apache as we still need to build the PHP binary for LiteSpeed.3. Build a Matching PHP BinaryLiteSpeed comes with a pre-built PHP 4 binary, but it’s recommended to build your own PHP binary with matching configuration options used by Apache mod_php.If LiteSpeed is running, temporarily switch back to Apache by clicking the “Switch to Apache” link. Then, click on the “Build Matching PHP Binary” link. This process may take some time.4. Restart LiteSpeedSimply click on “Restart LiteSpeed” to ensure everything is working as expected. It should be!If you set the Port Offset to a non-zero value, you can now replace Apache with LiteSpeed Web Server. Just click on “Switch to LiteSpeed.”You’re now ready to utilize LiteSpeed on WHM!
